Reel Rock goes big in its 20th year! Celebrating two decades since its founding, the world’s greatest climbing film festival returns to theaters this fall with a blood-pumping lineup of four world premiere films, featuring:
- Olympic champion Janja Garnbret sets her sights on the legendary climb Bibliographie
- Michaela Kiersch goes on a global sending spree, becoming the first woman ever to climb both V15 boulders and 5.15 routes
- Ben Mayforth redefines adaptive climbing in his intense pursuit of 5.13
- Colin Haley attempts a historic solo winter ascent of Cerro Torre
Bringing this show to Albuquerque for almost two decades to benefit local organizations
We started by showing RR 2 under the arch in the old gym on Yale...oh so many years ago. When the following for these climbing movies increased, we moved the show to the KiMo. Once again, the profits from this show are benefitting the Albuquerque Mountain Rescue Council (AMRC).
