Birthday Parties

A birthday party at Stone Age Climbing Gym is entertaining and can also help your child build confidence and self-motivation.  Here, a group of kids of at least 5 years of age can have fun together and even adults can join – everybody can enjoy a birthday party at the climbing gym!

Rock climbing is loads of fun because it creates an adventurous and “never give up” attitude. Our birthday parties include two hours of climbing in the only full-service climbing gym in the City (two locations) including harness rentals and safety instruction.  In addition, the birthday child will receive a complimentary limited-edition Stone Age t-shirt and two day passes so they can enjoy the gym again or bring a friend next time.

All visitors, whether climbing or spectating, must complete our waiver form. You can fill out the waiver in our lobby or save time and fill out the online waiver.

You must be 18 to complete the form. Minors are required to have the form completed by a parent or legal guardian.

We have 2 packages available:  the standard package and the premium package.  Here is what is included:

Standard Party Package (offered at both locations):

  • Up to 10 climbers
  • 2 1/2 hour climbing
  • One personal climbing guide
  • A Stone Age t-shirt for the birthday child
  • Exclusive use of the party room for the duration of the party
  • Harness rental
  • Plates, cups, utensils
  • Use of the refrigerator
  • Maximum 25 guests total

Premium Party Package (only offered at the Midtown location):

  • All included in the Standard Package
  • Up to 15 climbers
  • An additional party guide

Age Requirements:

  • Minimum age for the birthday child: Turning 6
  • Minimum age to participate: 5

You have the use of the party room so please bring your own food, drinks, and decorations to personalize it for the birthday kid.  On our part, we will do all that we can to make sure your family has a memorable experience.

All climbers should wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing. For an enhanced climbing experience, we offer optional climbing shoe rentals.

We require payment in full at the time of booking, which is refundable until 7 days before the date of the reservation and 50% refundable within 3 days of the reservation as we will have staff scheduled for your party.  Please show up no more than 15 minutes before your reserved time in order to check in.  All participants, including spectators, must have a liability waiver on file in our system or visitor waiver signed at the front desk.
