NM Mojo Alternative PE

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

This is a recreational program designed for Elementary and Middle school-aged Home-School students who enjoy rock climbing and want to climb more consistently with other youth their age. The Alternative PE program meets during regular school hours so it is only available to those who are not in the traditional school schedule.

The program consists of 9-week sessions, two in the spring and two in the fall. The groups meet between 1-2 hours a week and the times and days they meet depend on the program availability.

Please submit the form below for your home-schooled athlete if you are interested in adding your child to the waitlist for our Alternative PE program.

ADMISSION

While there are no prerequisites for this program, due to demand for a slot for this program, the interested kids will be waitlisted until a spot becomes available. The waitlist is prioritized by the involvement of the kids in rock climbing activities at Stone Age and outside: the greater the involvement, the higher up on the list they will move. In the event that there are more athletes who meet the same levels of involvement than there are spaces available, those who signed up first will receive the first invitation. The main purpose of this is to determine if participants have a love of climbing and are a good match for the program.

PRICING

Every participant is required to commit to participating for the entire duration of the session which is typically 9 weeks run but may vary based on holiday breaks and billing dates. A gym membership is included in the price of the program.

The program fees are billed monthly on the 15th of every month.

$129.95

Please email our youth program coordinator for more information about the program and to determine if this is an appropriate venue for your child.  We will place your name on the waiting list and will contact you as soon as the program timeline is established.
