THE EVENT SHIRT

Every year we come out with an awesome new event shirt. Get your specific size and fit by registering early. Select a men’s or women’s cut in a t-shirt or tank top. Only a unisex t-shirt will be available after the 25th. If you register the day of the event we cannot guarantee a comp shirt.
Are you traveling from out of town? There are a few options just a 5-minute walk away and adjacent to the Green Jeans Farmery, a great food and drink plaza.
We have a room block at the Hampton Inn (University/Midtown) at $83/night + tax for the 19th & 20th. Please call (505) 837-9300 directly to book your room and ask for the Stone Age Climbing Gym room rate, you will not receive the group rate when booking online.
You can also get a room at the Econo Lodge (Midtown). We don’t have a room block with them but they have affordable prices and great reviews for basic accommodations.

We start the event on Friday evening with an Open Category redpoint qualifier round for a chance to compete in the finals for cash. While the Open category is obviously a “serious” competition, the Youth and Citizens’ rounds are more about gathering with friends and achieving your personal best. All Volunteers, Youth and Citizens’ competitors are entered into our prize raffle with an equal chance to win your share of over $5000 in prizes.
We kick off Saturday with a USA Climbing sanctioned local youth bouldering competition in the morning before the Citizens’ competition for adult recreational climbers in the afternoon. The dual rounds will help distribute the crowd and allow everyone to climb to their heart’s content or the capacity of their skin, whichever comes first. In the evening, everyone joins the party and gathers around for the main event, the Open Finals!
