Earlier this year we did a survey to get your thoughts and feedback about the forward direction of Stone Age. One of the questions was would you like earlier morning hours? The reply was strong and in favor of opening earlier on weekdays to accommodate an earlier workout in time for the daily grind.
Starting on Monday, November 6th, we will open our doors at 6 am for member only hours!
We thank you for your feedback and look forward to serving you better.

As we get ready for the 2017 Yank-N-Yard competitions on Friday, October 20th and Saturday, October 21st, we have to close sections of the boulder and the lead wall throughout the prior week. Here’s a map and schedule of our wall closures. We apologize for the inconvenience and know that this limits your climbing space BUT we also know that this event is well worth it! Sign up so you can climb over 100 fresh new boulder problems on Saturday and watch professional rock climbers compete for their chance at our $10,000 cash purse!
Price Increase Effective November 1st
Stone Age Climbing Gym strives to give you the best climbing experience available with a clean modern facility, exceptional route setting, and knowledgeable staff. Our last price increase was over three and one half years ago and in that time our cost of doing business has continued to increase. We have absorbed increases in the cost of labor, rent, utilities, holds, and more over that time. In order to maintain our standard of excellence, our prices need to reflect the current cost of doing business and we need need to adjust our pricing so that we can continue to invest in the facility and our people.
We know that price is an important consideration for our customers, so we have worked hard to maintain the value of your membership with a small price adjustment. Effective November 1st, all monthly membership rates including youth programs will increase $5.00 per month, paid in advance annual memberships will increase $50.00 per year, day passes will increase $1.00, and punch cards will increase $10.00. The price increase will not affect the price of memberships during our Prime8 membership sale. All new and existing monthly autopay members will be billed at the new rates for the first time on November 15th.
Even after the planned price increase, we believe that you will find exceptional value in your climbing experience at Stone Age when compared to other climbing gyms. If you have questions or comments, please email us at Climb@StoneAgeGym.com
or call us at 505-341-2016
We will be closing early on Monday, September 4th, at 7:00 pm in observation of Labor Day.
We hope you get the chance to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather and the wonderful outdoors!

We will close at 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 30th for a staff team building event. We are sorry for the inconvenience but when you’re open 16 hours a weekday and 12 hours on Saturday and Sunday, you need to make time for those that work so hard for you. This is how we keep our awesome staff fresh and ready to serve you!
