The time for the Yank-N-Yard is upon us! This is an exciting time of year as we prepare not only for the competitions but for the rest of the fun and festivities.
Saturday Open Finals in South Room
The finals on Saturday night will be on the actual boulder in the South room on the East facing wall. Seating space is limited in this area. We are selling $5 viewing tickets to claim your spot in front of the boulder. Bleachers and benches will be set up to help increase seating space and make it more comfortable. The $5 viewing tickets are sold first to competitors and volunteers.
Outdoor Beer Garden and Live Music
Live viewing of the finals will be projected on a projector screen outside near the Santa Fe Brewing beer garden. Live music will be playing from 5:00 to 6:30 while our food sponsor dishes out their specialty food. Drink tickets and food tickets are free for competitors and volunteers. Spectators will need to purchase tickets. Tables and chairs will be available for seating, eating, and enjoying.
Inside Vendor Village, Dyno Comp and Slack Line
Live viewing of the finals will also be projected inside on a huge projector screen in the big lead room. There will be a vendor village with representatives from climbing companies and local businesses to give you deals and samples. And for fun, there will be a fun dyno competition set on the big speed wall with auto belays and a low slack line. Bring your own camping chair if you want to get comfy for the show!
Open Finals Live on YouTube
Will you miss the competition? You can watch it live online via YouTube. We will have camera people and commentators bringing the show to you, wherever you are in the world! We will be posting the link through our Facebook page and on our website through the Yank-N-Yard page.
